On May 29th Subaru announced a special edition of their popular BRZ sports car. Called the Series.Blue, only 1,000 units will be sold in the United States for the 2015 model year. The production run will be split with 500 being painted in WR Blue Pearl (shown) and 500 in Crystal White.
Power remains the same (200hp) but a variety of appearance and functional aerodynamic upgrades help this limited edition sports car stand out from the regular BRZ models. A manual transmission is reportedly the only transmission option for the Series.Blue.

STI aerodynamic upgrades include a blacked front splitter, side and rear spoilers, and additional under-body panels. This reduces the coefficient of drag from .28 to .27.

On the appearance side of things red brake calipers stand out against the black 17" STI wheels. Blue stitching on the seats, steering wheel, and shift knob accent the leather and alcantara seats which have blue seat bolsters and head restraints.
